Privacy policy

Shrinkwise is made by Inlet Technology Corporation Limited, trading as Inlet Technologies, New Zealand ("we"). This policy covers the Shrinkwise Windows app and this website.

The app

Shrinkwise works entirely on your computer. It reads the photos and videos in the folder you choose and writes smaller copies to a folder on your computer. It does not upload your files, and it does not collect, store or send any personal information, usage data or analytics to us or anyone else.

The app stores a small settings file on your computer (your storage price, currency and running savings total). It stays on your computer and is removed when you uninstall Shrinkwise.

Links in the app, such as the Microsoft Store add-on links or the donation page, open in your web browser.

Payments

If you choose to contribute, payment is handled by Lemon Squeezy, our payment provider, which acts as the seller and processes your payment details under its own privacy policy. We receive your name, email address and the amount, which we use only to provide receipts and support.

This website

This website does not use cookies. We count visits anonymously with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which does not use cookies, does not track you across sites and does not collect personal information; it tells us only things like page views, the referring site, country and browser type. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address as part of serving them.
