Open-source components

Shrinkwise is built on excellent free software. Full licence texts are installed with the app in its licences folder.

• libwebp (WebP encoder) - Google - BSD licence. Project
• FFmpeg (video) - LGPL v3, used as unmodified shared libraries with no GPL components. Source for the exact build: BtbN/FFmpeg-Builds, FFmpeg source at ffmpeg.org.
• ExifTool (photo and video details) - Phil Harvey - redistributable under the same terms as Perl (Artistic licence or GPL). exiftool.org
• Nunito (typeface) - The Nunito Project Authors - SIL Open Font Licence 1.1.

Videos are encoded with the H.264 encoder built into Windows or your graphics card.
